The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club's Junior's Program will change its venue to the Silhouette range for the month of October due to the El Dorado Cowboy State Championships event. The Silhouette range is located on the club members side just past the east gate from the four way intersection, see the range map section E. A club member wil stand by at the gate to let non-members in starting 15 minutes before the event.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club's High Power shooters will assist with sighting in hunting rifles on the Courtesy Range. Check in with the Range Safety Office who will direct you to the sight in area. The event will be:
8:00 AM Till NOON - 09/11/10
NOON till 4:00 PM - 09/12/10
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club's 3 Gun group has had to adjust their summer match times do to work requirements of the match director. The new summer schedule is:
June 19
July 23, Friday Night
August 7, First Saturday Night
September 11, Scheduled regular date
All start times are still 9 PM.
The Cowboy Shooters hosted the Junior’s Program during their April 2010 shoot with all having a great time. Thanks to a few folks we have new images for both the Junior’s and Cowboy photo galleries. These new photos galleries, along with others, can be viewed from the Photo Gallery page.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club's is offering a combination deal on its NV/UT CCW, Tactical Pistol I and Tactical Carbine classes. By registering and pre-paying for multiple classes you can sign up for all three of the classes, that is, Nevada / Utah CCW, Tactical Pistol I and Tactical Carbine classes. The cost of all three clases is $450 ($400 for club members), a savings of $270 ($220 for club members) over signing up for the three classes individually. The discount includes both state CCW's. This offer closes at the end of the October 9 & 10, 2010 NV/UT CCW class for all three classes. Any students in the NV/UT CCW class can sign up for the discount by paying the balance minus the NV/UT CCW Class cost. The combination option of the Tactical Pistol I and Tactical Carbine Classes closes October 22, 2010.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club's has canceled the 1,000 yard rifle held on the fourth Wednesday of the month for the rest of the year.
