Best Shoot by a Dam Site 05/02-04/2014

Setting up for the Best Shoot by a Dam Site will start about 10:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2014 in the five 100 yard member bays and the 25 yard bays will be roped off, due to the fact that there will be approximately 90 shooters for Saturday and Sunday and the Eldorado Cowboys will not be able to police other shooters during the event. The shooting is expected to be done mid-afternoon on Sunday, May 4, 2014 with clean up to follow immediately. Full use of the members‘ will be available on Monday, May 5, 2014.

It is anticipating to be about 15 to 20 campers for this event. The campers will start arriving on Friday afternoon and into the evening hours. Starting Friday afternoon, cables will be placed across the courtesy bay entrances and locked along with all of the gates with the exception of the main gate and the gate to the members‘ area. The sign on the gate will be dropped to advise everyone that the members‘ area is closed due to a special event.

The shooters that are camping will be asked to question anyone who comes up to shoot after the Eldorado Cowboys leave on Friday regarding their membership. If they can show a membership card, they will be instructed to use the courtesy bays. The combination on the gates to the courtesy range will be set to the same as the main gate.
