The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides training in N.R.A. classes by N.R.A. certified instructors.

N.R.A. Range Safety Officer and N.R.A. Personal Protection outside of the Home Classes held before June 1 need to be selected as "Spring Session", classes held after June 1 need to be selected as "Fall Session" on the NRA Training Application form.
In addition, all N.R.A. coarses must be registered with the N.R.A. web site.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides two N.R.A. Range Safety Officer Certification Classes per year. The N.R.A. Range Safety Officer Certification Class consists of 8 hours of classroom instruction. All Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club Range Masters / Range Officers, Activity/Event Leads and Contractors are required to complete this course and attend a session with the Chief Range Master.
At this time there is no regularly scheduled training event for the rifle or shotgun. Such training can be arranged with the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club volunteer instructors and is available for small (2) to large (20) groups, as time and schedules permits. Basic Rifle and Shotgun training classes requires 10 to 14 hours. Age requirements 12 for Rifle and Shotgun.
Basic Pistol training can be taken with the Nevada Concealed Carry Weapon and Utah Concealed Firearm Permits Class by registering as a Pistol Only student. Age requirement is16 for Pistol. Registration for this training is done using the CCW Training Application form.
Optionally, you can contact the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club and ask for individual training conducted on the range by one of the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club volunteer certified instructors as time and schedules permits. One on one training requires 4 hours and is conducted based on instructor availability.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides N.R.A. Personal Protection outside the Home Classes twice per year for Personal Protection outside the Home. This classes
is designed by the N.R.A. for students who have completed a state Conceal Carry Weapon permit process or either of the N.R.A. Personal Protection In the Home or
Basic Pistol classes. The N.R.A. Personal Protection outside the Home Class consists of two parts that can be taken separately.
Level I: 9 hours of classroom and range instruction on Saturday.
Level II: 5 hours or range instruction on Sunday, requires completion of Level I.
Prerequisite: Basic Pistol Training including any one of: Any State Conceal Weapon Carry permit, Military Training, N.R.A. Basic Pistol, N.R.A. Personal Protection In the Home or other firearm training school coarse of training involving live fire.
Required equipment: The student must provide a strong side only belt holster, hearing protection, eye protection, a hat with a brim, knee pads (recommended), a center fire semi-automatic/revolver pistol, two magazines/speed loaders, flashlight (Level II only) and 100 rounds of Factory Ammunition for each level taken.

Instructor Certification Class consists of 9 hours of classroom instruction on Saturday and a combination of 8 hours of classroom and range instruction on Sunday. Instructor Candidates learn how to conduct a class and instruct students on the range.
Required equipment: The Instructor Candidates must provide a strong side only belt holster, hearing protection, eye protection, a hat with a brim, a center fire semi-automatic/revolver pistol, two magazines/speed loaders and 100 rounds of Factory Ammunition.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class once per year for Basic Rifle. The N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class consists of 10 hours of classroom instruction on Saturday and a combination of 10 hours of classroom and range instruction on Sunday. Instructor Candidates learn how to conduct a class and instruct students on the range.
Required equipment: The Instructor Candidates must provide hearing protection, eye protection, a hat with a brim, a center fire rifle capable of 200 meters, one magazine, if required, 40 rounds of rifle Factory Ammunition.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class once per year for Basic Shotgun. The N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class consists of 9 hours of classroom instruction on Saturday and a combination of 8 hours of classroom and range instruction on Sunday. Instructor Candidates learn how to conduct a class and instruct students on the range.
Required equipment: The Instructor Candidates must provide hearing protection, eye protection, a hat with a brim, a shotgun in 12, 16 or 20 gauge, 25 rounds of shotgun Factory Ammunition.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class once per year for Personal Protection In the Home. The N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class consists of 8 hours of classroom instruction on Saturday and a combination of 6 hours of classroom and range instruction on Sunday. Instructor Candidates learn how to conduct a class and instruct students on the range.
Prerequisite: N.R.A. Basic Pistol Instructor Certification.
Required equipment: The Instructor Candidates must provide a strong side only belt holster, hearing protection, eye protection, a hat with a brim, a center fire semi-automatic/revolver pistol, two magazines/speed loaders and 100 rounds of Factory Ammunition.
The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club provides N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class once per year for Personal Protection outside the Home. The N.R.A. Instructor Certification Class consists of 8 hours of classroom instruction on Saturday and a combination of 6 hours of classroom and range instruction on Sunday. Instructor Candidates learn how to conduct a class and instruct students on the range.
Prerequisite: N.R.A. Personal Protection In the Home Instructor Certification and N.R.A. Personal Protection Outside the Home Student Certification.
Required equipment: The Instructor Candidates must provide a strong side only belt holster, hearing protection, eye protection, a hat with a brim, a center fire semi-automatic/revolver pistol, two magazines/speed loaders and 200 rounds of Factory Ammunition.
