ICORE promotes action shooting competitions with revolvers. The ICORE shooters at Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club call themselves the “Reservation Dogs”. You can find them listed on the International ICORE website.

ICORE Monthly Match

ICORE shooting at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club is on the third Sunday of each month and consists of 3 – 4 courses of fire. We keep the matches fresh and challenging by changing the course of fire each month. We are a cold range.

In addition to our monthly match and qualifiers, the Reservation Dogs hold two additional matches.

Quarterly we will hold a “Zombie Match”

We welcome any pistol, as long as it can drop the steel. Come and get’em! Rule sheets will be passed out at the event.

We will also hold a “BUG Match.”

BUG = Back-Up Gun. The BUG Match basic requirements are:

  • Revolvers and semi-automatics
  • The maximum barrel length of 3.5 inches
  • Maximum ammunition capacity of eight rounds
  • The minimum caliber of .32
  • Iron sights. No laser or optics
  • The use of speed loaders or moon clips allowed
  • Holster and ammo carriers must be street-style and mounted behind the centerline
  • Belts around the waist and through the loops
  • No competition or cross draw or shoulder holsters or wearing at the small of the back allowed
